I can’t even begin to describe the panic I felt when I got logged out of my Instagram and suddenly started getting messages from friends saying “I think your account got hacked.” My username was still active, but the profile picture had changed, my bio was gone, and the hacker started posting strange crypto stories pretending to be me. I felt helpless. I tried reporting it, I tried using Instagram’s support but I just kept getting automated replies. A cousin of mine told me to try Media Town Agency. I honestly didn’t expect much at first, but they shocked me with how professional and knowledgeable they were. They immediately requested a few details my username, old email, location of account creation and had me record a selfie video for face ID validation. Within hours, they submitted a special recovery request internally to Meta. Less than a day later, I received a password reset email from Instagram and got back into my account. Everything was there, untouched. After the recovery, they helped me protect the account with two-factor authentication and even tracked down the IP that hacked me. I don’t know how they do it, but they’re honestly amazing.
